Erst die Bremsflüssigkeit verbindet die Bremsenkomponenten
mit ihren unterschiedlichen Aufgaben zu einem
leistungsfähigen Bremssystem. Die Funktionserweiterung
der Bremsanlage um Antiblockier- system, Antriebsschlupf-
regelung und Fahrstabilitäts-Managementsystem führte zu
hohen Anforderungen an die Bremsflüssigkeit.
Continental Teves arbeitet deshalb als einer der weltweit
führenden Bremsenhersteller in den Labors und Versuchs-
abteilungen kontinuierlich an der Weiterentwicklung seiner
Original ATE Bremsflüssigkeiten.

In der Praxis zeigt es sich immer wieder, daß allein die
Erfüllung der Mindestanforderungen der bekannten
Bremsflüssigkeitsnormen keine Gewähr für ein zuverlässiges
Zusammenspiel mit modernen Bremssystemen bietet.
Deshalb empfehlen wir, regelmäßig die Bremsflüssigkeit
überprüfen zu lassen, z.B. mit dem Original ATE BFCS

Zur Erhaltung der Funktionssicherheit der Bremsanlage muß
verbrauchte Bremsflüssigkeit entsprechend den vom Fahrzeug-
hersteller vorgegebenen Wechselintervallen erneuert werden.

Bremsflüssigkeit ist hygroskopisch und nimmt Wasser
zwangsläufig auf. Der Siede-punkt verringert sich stetig.
Unter hoher thermischer Belastung können sich bei niedrigem
Siedepunkt Dampfblasen bilden. Bremsenversagen droht.

Zur Entfernung von Abrieb und Schmutz sowie zur
Auffrischung des Korrosionsschutzes im Bremssystem
ist regelmäßiger Bremsflüssigkeitswechsel ebenfalls
erforderlich.
